Why Rice?

The reason we focused on rice is the beautiful skin of Asian women. It was said that rice has a beauty effect from long ago, such as "The hands of sake brewery workers dealing with rice koji are clear and white", "Washing your face and hands with rice water will be smooth your skin" and so on.

Since ancient times, it's said that people used rice as a familiar beauty ingredient in daily life. Rice is familiar to people and very safe and healthy to eat. It means that it is safe for our skin. The rice is very suitable for people who has a sensitive skin as a skincare ingredient.

That is why, after pursuing a natural manufacturing method which does not add extra things, we reached to "fermentation". "Fermentation" is exactly the traditional technique that Japan is proud of worldwide, and as a Japanese master craftmanship, it attracts worldwide attention.

Of course, we choose "carefully selected rice". We use 100% Japanese white rice.
Extract Rice Extract, and add "microorganisms" in nature such as Aspergillus, yeast, lactic acid bacteria for fermentation.

Founded in the first year of Ansei, and Rice Power Extract was created by "fermentation" of rice with the latest technique after over 30 years research.
Rice Power Extracts have completed with the cooperation of universities and medical institutions.
Among them, Rice Power Extract No.11 which improves skin’s moisture-retention ability is an active ingredient approved by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare for the first time in Japan.
Rice Power Extracts including Rice Power No.11 Extract are made from performing natural manufacturing process of fermentation and aging for 90 days.
The company has strictly managed conditions such as types and combinations of microorganisms to be added during fermentation, fermentation time, etc.
Because it is necessary to control the workings of the microbes, the person in charge of each process needs to take care of it.

As we use skincare products everyday, we care about gentleness on your skin.

  • Fragrance Free

    There is no fragrance used.

  • Colorant

    There are no synthetic colorants used.

  • Free from Petroleum-based surfactants

    The surfactants allows water and oil to mix by forming an intermediate layer between the water and oil. The surfactants are mainly used as an emulsifier or a detergent. Our products don't contain petroleum-based surfactant.

  • No animal-derived ingredients

    We do not use animal-derived ingredients at all.

  • Low-pH

    RICE FORCE products are basically formulated with pH values of 5.5 to keep the skin healthy.

  • Alcohol

    We use the minimum amount of alcohol required for some products. Generally, the definition of "alcohol free" is free from ethanol. If we avoid to use alcohol in skincare, we need to use other preservatives, and depending on the amount, it may be rather irritating. Therefore, we use a very small amount of alcohol.

  • Ingredient (Paraben)

    Because our product's basic ingredient is a natural material, "Rice", we use parabens in our skincare limited to minimum necessary. Parabens used in RICE FORCE products are the same as them used in food.

  • Allergy and irritation patch tested

    We perform allergy and irritation patch test for all our products in multiple institutes.
